Original sound, and pretty awesome.

Numi, this loop is pretty outstanding. Though it is very slow and mellow, it sounds much more professional than much else I've heard on Newgrounds.

This is short, but it flows so smoothly that I could listen to it for hours.

Awesome job!

Numi responds:

I'm absolutely astonished you think this! Glad you like it, I guess I really hit my mark with this track!

Applecore deserves a medal. Also, Electric 5.

I freaking love this. I'm amazed at the stuff you did in it, and it makes me wonder why I bother. Haha.

Of course, like always, I'm listening to it while I type this up. My mind is constantly blown though, so I may have nothing else specific to add. This is just great.

Ok you're doing sliding stuff that I'm curious about at around 2:30. I don't know how you're such a natural at this stuff, but you are. Haha. Your melodies are always original and awesome.

3:18 -- O_O

3:50 -- This is coming together pretty nice- oh crap 4:00.

I'm just going to cease this review and say it's amazing. Haha, nice.

RetromanOMG responds:

Thanks, lol. It's always hilarious to read the reviews you write while listening to my songs.

I did more to make this song than I usually would. In fact, I may need to go back and fix maybe a few things at the end, make the breakcore pattern flow better with the rest of the song.

This is pretty awesome.

It is an amazing remix. I have no idea how you made it sound so similar, instrument wise. The piano sounds better haha.

I'm at 1:24, and it's starting to get awesome. I love this, hahaha.

I think this couldn't be much better. Plus, it's a remix. I love remixes. Ha.

I love how you focused on that one part at around 2:35. Again, thanks!

RetromanOMG responds:

No problem. I'd say "anytime," but I don't think I have the patience for remixes, lol.

Edit: The part at 1:24 is the main piano melody, keyed backwards. Also, I had to play the whole thing backwards and then play it back in reverse to create the effect at the beginning.

Awesome!

It takes a reaaaaaly long time to pick up, but when it does, it's pretty sweet. I need more patience, haha, because I have been waiting for a while for it to pick up more. I know it's going to happen though.

I'm about about 2:20 at this point and it's still good, but very ambient, if that makes any sense. I feel like if I skip ahead, I'm going to miss some crazy transition or something, but it may be this light throughout the entire thing. If so, it's still great.

Ok I skipped ahead. Overall, this is great, it's just really slow paced. For an ambient song though, it was perfect. Great job, and I can't wait for part 2.

RetromanOMG responds:

Trust me, you didn't miss much of anything by skipping. It stays the same the whole way through.

You song is delicious

I think I died a little bit. In a good way though. Hence the 10/10.

I started writing this review at the beginning because it was already so great, and I had to freeze at 1:30. That drum stuff is so freaking amazing. There are no words.

This reminds me a lot of everything I can't do, hahaha. Man this stuff is crazy. I think I'm going to make another song now just because I have too try out some ideas I just got from you.

3:30 -- Freaking out again. If this is where your "half-assed"-ness starts, you need to do EVERYTHING half-assed. This is pretty awesome.

4:22 -- The piano is making me want to learn this on a real piano. I am determined to do so, in fact. It will happen.

Yeah, that ending was amazing. Full-assed must have been freaking amazing x2 because half of that was still freaking amazing (math reference because I'm a loser like that). MOAR PLZ

I can't believe that you did this, though I can definitely believe it due to the fact that everything else you've done is amazing.

RetromanOMG responds:

Nice to see I melted your face 3 times, if not more. Feedback like this is always appreciated, and this is no exception. Thank you very much.

I'm excited, alright?!

Haha. It got off to a rocky start just because of the instrument diversity. About 20 seconds in, though, everything fit together almost perfectly.

The only thing I would recommend is that you pick a cleaner distorted guitar for the quick sections, but even that guitar works perfectly in the end.

Also, this isn't an issue, but this would be much better with some stereo separation, which isn't too hard to do in FL Studio (if you use that) and can be explained easily through Youtube if necessary, hahaha.

Honestly, I love this. Except for the minor things I mentioned, this is great. The end (starting around 1:05) sounds amazing. Haha, you'd always be welcome to do anything with any of my songs. I don't feel like I could ever be disappointed.

Great!

PainasaurusRex responds:

That's the best compliment I've ever gotten :,) thank you. And I'll do some stuff with the stereo seperation as you call it. I haven't gotten to messing with that yet, I've began to get into FL to be honest. And because you were so awesome, I'll take the time to listen to your music. Thanks again :D

That guy whose review is below me is a tard.

This is very nice. I would say that one of the instruments sounds a little off but it fits later on.

I enjoyed this, and it loops fairly well. I would shorten then ending silence though to make it flow better into the repeat.

Nice job!

PainasaurusRex responds:

lol, thanks. And I'll fix the ending silence to make it flow better. I didn't even notice it until you said something, I must have a frame there or something, I'll fix and just update this one. Once again, thanks for the review :)

Why do I feel like I'm playing Megaman...

I haven't heard much good 8-bit stuff on this site, but this is certainly an exception. Way to go!

Numi responds:

Thanks man! I was hoping to get a Megaman-like comment. That's the sort of vibe I wanted to give off! Glad you liked it ^_^

Sounds like VICTORY

I normally don't like anyone who isn't well known (or RetromanOMG) but this is insanity that I MUST review.

I skipped to the middle at first, but after this finishes I'm going to replay it for sure. If I can ever make something this good, I'll be surprised. It has excellent depth and progresses very well.

Overall, this is great.

Numi responds:

Thanks for the kind words, man! I tried super hard on this, it means a lot that you think it's so good =D I checked your profile, saw you favorited me and this song =O I'm stoked you like it, and I seriously hope my next piece lives up to this one.

RetromanOMG responds:

OL, I know you mean good, but this is the most confusing of all your reviews.

I'm going to assume you said "This is the greatest song I have ever heard," and respond with, "Thanks, I know it's damn good."

Edit: Oh, I just got that. I'll do that.
