This is pretty nice, in some strange way, haha.

I can't exactly pinpoint this genre either, but it's definitely Electronica. I'd call it Chillno, but just because I have nothing more original, haha. The instruments themselves are duller (not in a "boring" sense, but in a "not-sharp" sense), but the song has a certain sharpness to it.

This is great. Thanks!

Thank YOU, OpenLight. I always wanted to take a song, twist it into some piece of madness, and still manage to make it sound good. :P I decided to try new instruments (well, the Rave Lead is there as always), and I found that the kind of hip-hop bass really worked. Or whatever it is. :P

Respect.

Grand finale implies and end, which is certainly not the direction to go!

This song could be worked with to make an amazing full-length song if you wanted it to be. I'd say take a break from composing if you're still in that writer's block. Every time I've decided to take a break, I come right back with some new ideas. There will always be some tune you can't get out of your head, and that's where new songs originate.

About the loop: Awesome. There you go. Ha

drew6464 responds:

I mean, not a finale. I worded that wrong. I meant I'll have to make a song as epic as my Dark Cave song. Dark Cave had 16 instruments and 84 measures of music. Most of my songs have 4-6 instruments and 30 measures of music.

I think I'm out of the writer's block. I'm back! And what you said about the break and coming back, that is exactly what happened to me. :P You've been a real help Openlight.

I'm speechless.

I've had 4 remixes, two from you and two from Retro, but this is definitely my first tribute.

I do need to put more slides in my newer songs. There were hardly any in my last original! I would gladly accept the title of Newgrounds sliding king, hahaha.

This is fantastic. Thanks!

drew6464 responds:

Well, the reason it sounds so much like your style is because when I decided it should include lots of sliding, I took the first part from your song, "Slide Testing." And I didn't really slide- I kind of cheated there. I just used the JrBass from the stock (you might recognize the lead instrument from Passion Modified Remodified) and it always sounds like it's sliding.

Progressive Review

Ok, it started out like my song, then I noticed the stereo. Nicceeee.

00:40: Starting to get freaking amazing and giving me chills. That piano is great and the effects are amazing.

01:22: I don't have time to put every freak out I've had so far. This is just great.

02:03: This sounds crazy. The music box / wind chime effect thing you've got going is great. Haters are hating, but I'll be sure to 5 bomb the crap out of this one.

03:02: I just keep typing. This is amazing, as I've said so much before. It's great though! I'm listening to the guitar solo thing, which is very awesome.

04:00: This song is very calm, yet it's always moving forward. It's a remix, but it sounds very original. I love this.

05:10: I'm hearing a repeating melody that is so incredibly catchy that I can't get over it. My song was morphed into something crazy.

Haha, overall this song was great, amazing, awesome, etc. You get the point. Woooo!

RetromanOMG responds:

Ha, I knew you'd love this remix. I would like to say I worked my ass off for this song, but considering I did it in about 12 hours, I don't know how much you care for that.

I decided to stray away from Breakcore for this song because the original clicked with me as being a very lighthearted, benign song, and BC would kind of ruin it. Instead, I worked on making it a heavily atmospheric song.

I actually think I need to do some work on 3:17 to 3:44, so if you already downloaded it, you should come back and get the update when I'm finished with it.

Wow.

This is nice. It isn't as much repetitive as it is just well linked together. The song progresses in such a seamless manner.

I don't have much to say about this, but it's amazing.

omikron1989 responds:

Thank you bro!

I remember this! This is so awesome.

5 bombed.

This is crazy good in so many ways.

RetromanOMG responds:

Oh yeah, you heard the beta of it on Facebook.

Thanks for the 5, dude.

Yeah!

Haha, this is amazing. Even if it is really short, this is more of a demo than anything else.

Noice

RetromanOMG responds:

Daaaaaw, thnks.

You are THE 8-bit writer.

I seriously love this, and it got my heart beating fast to hear a great 8-bit song.

I'll 5 this as much as I have to for it to keep a rating above 4. I think 8-bit remixes are awesome of any song, but few people can make original 8-bit songs that sound good too. You are one of those few people. Great job!

I may have to remix one of your songs sometime, and you always have an open invitation to remix my stuff! If I find the time for another remix, I'll send you a message.

PainasaurusRex responds:

Wow thanks a lot, that really does mean a lot to me, and if you do remix something of mine, you damn well better tell me so I can 5 it to hell.

I haven't heard the original, but this is great.

Nice job! I could listen to this forever.

I may remix another one of your songs soon. It depends on how much music composing I do in general over the next few weeks.

RetromanOMG responds:

I really suggest you listen to the original on NG, dude. It's a great song.

This is absolutely crazy.

This is absolutely crazy. x2

RetromanOMG responds:

Orly?

:D
