I almost fell into a coma of awesomeness.

I might suggest you work with octaves a little. For example, you could take the melody and raise it an octave later in the song for a different effect.

I have no real criticism though. This song is absolutely reduxical.

I love this!

If I could find some way to make stuff this great, I'd be so freaking happy, haha. I know it isn't your melody, but the way you used this song was fantastic. I have no complaints.

Birdinator99 responds:

That means a lot to me; thank you!

Someone needs to make a game with this song.

I'd play Apples for the NES in a heartbeat. It's a classic.

RetromanOMG responds:

Lol, your comments are always the awesomeness.

I personally think for this to be in any form of game, it'd have to be in the credits or something.

As an actual gameplay song, maybe in loops. OOOHHH, I'm hinting that someone should use it in their Flashes!!!! Muhuhuhuhuhuhahahahahahaha!

Awesome!

This is my second favorite song by you. (The first is your remix of Passion Modified, haha.)

You did some amazing stuff in this. I hear some Sytrus guitars in there that were used better than I could have used them. (Inferno is the best.)

I would listen to this a lot longer if I wasn't about to go play Halo, haha.

Thanks! I've been waiting for this review, cause no one else is likely to review my songs. Yeah, I tried a lot of new things with this song. I even tried to interperet small parts from other songs into this. It took some time longer than some other of my songs, but it was worth the effort.

Fantastic!

This is great, man. I'd like to think I've improved over time in writing music, but somehow you keep raising the bar!

This reminds me of something that would be on a very successful game. That's a huge compliment, by the way, haha.

Nice!

This is fantastic and I have to say y- SHUT UP WHEN I'M TALKING!

RetromanOMG responds:

Olololololoolololololool, I see what you did there.

I just noticed this is getting Downvoted. Oh well!

Pretty nice!

I noticed you reviewed a song that was a remix of one of my more popular songs, so I decided I should check you out, and I'm not disappointed! In fact, I wouldn't hesitate in letting you remix one of my songs just after hearing this one!

This is good. It's rated poorly because it's lacking in layered elements. I'd say, if you wanted to edit this, add some background drums at the beginning of this (nothing too flashy), and definitely use the mixer a lot. The mixer makes everything better, haha.

Also, if you want this to loop better, either remove the fade out or create a fade in that will lead back to the beginning. Just matching the first chord and having it fade in from nothing at the end would make this 100x better.

Great job!

SeeD419 responds:

Haha thanks a lot! <3 <3

Dude...you gotta tell me what song that was. I downloaded a bunch and have been playing them nonstop lately lol. Lots of awesome shit on here, so underrated.

This is pretty nice, in some strange way, haha.

I can't exactly pinpoint this genre either, but it's definitely Electronica. I'd call it Chillno, but just because I have nothing more original, haha. The instruments themselves are duller (not in a "boring" sense, but in a "not-sharp" sense), but the song has a certain sharpness to it.

This is great. Thanks!

drew6464 responds:

Thank YOU, OpenLight. I always wanted to take a song, twist it into some piece of madness, and still manage to make it sound good. :P I decided to try new instruments (well, the Rave Lead is there as always), and I found that the kind of hip-hop bass really worked. Or whatever it is. :P

I have to respect this.

Haha, no matter how much I would want to give you anything less than a 5 and a 10, I can't. You're some crazy composer, man!

I wish some of my songs would sound like that. I wish I knew how to do that.

Respect.

Grand finale implies and end, which is certainly not the direction to go!

This song could be worked with to make an amazing full-length song if you wanted it to be. I'd say take a break from composing if you're still in that writer's block. Every time I've decided to take a break, I come right back with some new ideas. There will always be some tune you can't get out of your head, and that's where new songs originate.

About the loop: Awesome. There you go. Ha

drew6464 responds:

I mean, not a finale. I worded that wrong. I meant I'll have to make a song as epic as my Dark Cave song. Dark Cave had 16 instruments and 84 measures of music. Most of my songs have 4-6 instruments and 30 measures of music.

I think I'm out of the writer's block. I'm back! And what you said about the break and coming back, that is exactly what happened to me. :P You've been a real help Openlight.
