This is the only news post I've made during a lecture, so I'll keep this short.

I may not be making more music in 2010. I've made around 40 original songs this year, which is a huge deal for me. I'm very grateful for all of your support throughout 2010. I'll be around, even if I don't make another song until 2011.

I finished Gust of Wind! For those of you who even knew I was making this enormous (for me) song, I'm sure you know how relieved I am to be done. And if you didn't know... well, I'm still relieved. 7:45 is about 3x the time of one of my older songs.

Anyway, please check out Gust of Wind! I just uploaded it about 10 minutes ago. (Note: When you read this, it'll be longer than 10 minutes ago. Weird, right? Hello future.)

I'm writing a new song, as I always seem to be nowadays, and it's coming along pretty well. That being said, I'd rather not upload it here and have it shredded (plus, I'd rather not upload everything here) so I'll have this song elsewhere, at least for a while. (If you want to hear it, ask me. It's called Lethal Plateau, so if you've already heard it and thought I was making another song besides it... nope.)

I will submit the song after this one to Newgrounds though, once I can think of one.

It has been a full year since my first submission on Newgrounds. I'd like to believe I've gotten better since then, but honestly Quick Descent is one of my favorite creations to date.

In honor of this momentous occasion, I'm creating something with a familiar melody to those of you who have heard my early stuff. However, though it has parts of an old melody, this new song will be vastly different both in mood and depth.

I wanted to have it done and uploaded yesterday (since 11/2 was the day I submitted that first song) but that didn't happen, so be checking here today and tomorrow for a new song.

I created a new song called Breathless that I'll probably update with a full version once I perfect it. This is by far my favorite out of all of the songs I have created. I feel that this must've been made so quickly (the entire melody and harmony was made in around an hour) because of some inspiration from God. That's all that could explain it.

Anyway, I'd love to stay and chat, but I have to get back to doing nothing.

OOOOkkk. So I finally did a remix for my friend J-Ville. He only has one song, called Hazardous Anomaly Detected (http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/liste n/356021), but it's a great one. (Drew6464, we may want to just have our remix contest on that haha. Waterflame is too intimidating.)

So, what else is in store?

1. Possibly another remix. Let me know if you want one!

2. Some new original song (eventually)

3. A collab with RetromanOMG (and possibly J-Ville or Drew6464)

etc., maybe.

I'm pretty sure even suggesting a contest was pretty stupid, haha. I'll cover it up before any damage is done.

I'm FINALLY working on a new song. I hit a pretty significant writer's block and this song seems to be a ray of light in my clouded composition world. I'm on SoundCloud now, though I haven't told people yet because I use SoundCloud in a strange way.

For example, with the song I'm working on now, every time I come out with a new version or I add onto it, I update the link with the new sound file. However, when the final version is completed, I usually skip uploading it on there and I just go straight to putting it up on here.

I think this will be fairly interesting. What you have to do for this contest is make a song that is at least 2 minutes in length that uses the following instruments, or instruments that sound like these:

Some sort of lead synth
A violin / orchestra synth
Electric guitar
Bass guitar
Your choice of drums

I expect maybe one person to participate. This mainly for fun though, so participate if you want to try it out!

I have zero classes on Thursday. That means I'll do something FL based.

Ok, so I've had writer's block before, but never this bad. I can usually find something, but I feel like I reached some sort of momentary apex with my most recent song. I had one project I was working on, but now I have absolutely no clue what to do to it, so that's a dead end.

If anyone has any ideas, throw one at me!
