[Soul of Ice]

I think I hear 3xosc somewhere in there. Haha. I love 3xosc, it's so useful.

After just finishing a more melancholy (according to one of my friends) song myself, I'm in a pretty good state to listen over this. First, I'm a huge fan of simple waveform synths. They sound retro and common without being boring.

As far as this song goes, I'm giving it 4/5 because it's very promising and has a nice mood to it. The drums have little to no sustain though, which makes the ending stretch a bit jarring when juxtaposed with the previous bit. Also, it ends much too soon. That having been said, I see it's a remake, and for a remake it is very good.

Time to repay the favor!

I love songs that are meant to be eerie or creepy, and this does a good job at reaching its goal. I'm not sure what rating to give this, as it seems some of the melodies and harmonies clash at points and a couple of the instruments sound stale, but that actually manages to add to the atmosphere a good deal.

I love that the melody is all over the place. It's so chaotic at times that it adds to what I think the song is trying to be. Great job with this.

The mixing is a bit heavy on the low end, but other than that this is awesome. It's possible the mixing I'm hearing is a result of my headphones too, so I won't say that it's an issue for sure.

I'll have to check out that original!

Awesome! There are some minor mixing issues, but other than that this is a very good song.
