:O!

:O!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha this is great. You're a master at 8-bit for sure. Not many can do straight 8-bit this well, and you're definitely the best on Newgrounds.

Numi responds:

Well, as this is the only track I've produced and not grown to despise after a week and a half, I'd bet it's one of my best. But the best 8-bit on NG? I wouldn't go close to that far! I'm absolutely thrilled you like it though!

YES!

It's been too long since I checked your page. I love your stuff man.

I've been in a composition rut since the beginning of the year lol. Not only have I not made much, but it's not in a style I'm accustomed to and am not good at.

Anyway, this is fantastic. Keep it up!

Numi responds:

Hehe. Glad you like my stuff. It's nice to know I'm appreciated. ^_^ I'm glad to know you like it!

Whoa, this is pretty great.

The drums are fairly plain at the beginning, but it fits so it's no issue.

This is awesome. I'm glad I saw this!

Not bad, man.

The kick's a bit too high for my liking, but it fits with the song fairly well. I'd suggest emphasizing the melody more and maybe replacing the kick, but this sounds fine as is.

Keep it up!

Not rated well enough, like most good songs on NG.

This song is very good for an 8bit song. You make your stuff sound very much like NES music which is awesome. Also, the melody is very developed and not just thrown together. You focus less on mixing to make it sound Grade A and instead you make something that is genuinely good.

So many NG people could learn from you.

PainasaurusRex responds:

Thanks a bunch, it means a lot to me :D I'll keep trying to produce some good music haha

Wow

So much like a Donkey Kong 64 song. This is nice.

SirKoto51 responds:

I love Donkey Kong Games. Thanks.

This is nice

Ignore the ratings, man. This has a nice melody and an interesting harmony.

Add more layers of slow, underlying harmony and be sure to balance treble and bass well and you'll get better ratings I'm sure.

Nice job!

Xarosas responds:

An OL Guarantee :D
lol thx for the advice and the review man

Pretty nice!

You should definitely extend this song. It's pretty awesome already and it could be made much better I'm sure!

Nice!

NOICE

You're always welcome to parody my style, haha. Though in all seriousness, if you wanted to do anything with any of my songs, you're free to do so. Just let me know if you want help with anything, even if it has nothing to do with any of my stuff.

Haha anyway, I love your stuff. You can tell that you're newer to the program you're using, but it doesn't hinder you near as much as it did for me or Retro or anyone else. You've got some talent, and once you get more familiar with your stuff, you'll make some great music.

EricFreeman responds:

I would totally do a parody of one of your songs, but I wouldn't know how to begin. I can't really make my own synth sounds myself; I just twist nobs until it sounds cool. >_> If you ever want to collab on something though, I'd be down.

And thanks a lot!
