The delay effect is neat

This song is pretty great. I decided to check your stuff since I haven't in a while (you reviewed my song a long time ago haha) and I'm excited to hear this. Nice job!

2tailedknight responds:

why thank you good sir :3
send me a messege if you want me to check out your stuff as well

I love the synths you used

My favorite synth was definitely the portamento one.

Overall, this song is awesome. Keep it up!

bossler13 responds:

Thanks man! glad you like it =D

Awesome!

What's your primary synth (if you use FL Studio)? I love it and I've looked for one like it for a while.

SKILLZmakeKILLZ responds:

i created it

Good song!

I'd work with that primary synth at the beginning. It doesn't really match or it's too loud, and I can't figure out which. Perhaps a quieter, sharper synth could do it justice, or just a dull bass synth.

Regardless I like the melody you have going here. I look forward to more from you!

alexwin responds:

ou anyway thanks ... and yes, i know what you are need say ... my melodies and synths need something ...

thanks

I feel strange...

This song makes me feel like every 2 seconds or so I enter an alternate reality and it's hard to maintain my balance.

I know, it's weird, but that's my way of saying this is great.

I loved Donkey Kong 64. Thank you.

Haha this was great to hear this melody again!

I don't remember Mad Jack but I'm sure I would if I looked him up. I'll probably do that after this. I love this song by the way.

DahDoctow responds:

Hey thanks!

Mad Jack was probably the most memorable boss in the entire game. Great music and he had the craziest laugh.

Definitely something to check out!

"For OpenLight I wrote a solo cause I know he loves solos..." Woo! Time to hear it, haha.

This song is great. I've been following the WIP's and it's only gotten better.

The solo is awesome too. It sounds very much like 8-bit solos in professional games. I think it should end with more of a climax into a more powerful version of the chorus, but it's still good.

PainasaurusRex responds:

Haha, yup, and I figured I needed practice anyway

Also, when writing in 8-bit doing epic is really hard, I'll try to get the post solo chorus to sound more powerfully, but like I said, it can be difficult, I only have 6 channels to work with, and the chorus uses all of them, so I'll see if I can't tweek it, and I'll just reupload it here and let you know, to see if I succeeded.

Once again, thanks for the review and the rating, it's appreciated :D

Awesome

This is coming along nicely. Haha I'll be sure to check out the full version when it comes out!

PainasaurusRex responds:

Thank you :D, I'll make sure to send you a PM when it is out

Feels like a boss battle in an RPG

...except this is right before the battle. This is the boss talking to you. He is in fact your father who has returned from the future to stop you from becoming the great hero you're destined to be.

And thus your party one by one gets slain, and for some reason every friend you ever had gets blown up, and it's only you and him in existence as far as you care.

Lol I really think this deserves better ratings. It's very simple but I do like it.

PainasaurusRex responds:

Lol, awesome. That's a pretty good description of it, to be honest. It's to true. And thank you for the rating and review as usual. I know I can always count on you. :D

:DDDDD

Wooo!

What program do you use? I'm pretty sure I want to start using it, haha.

Birdinator99 responds:

I actually use Mixcraft, but people around here don't like it because it's used for its loops too often. It's a pretty bare bones sequencer and workstation :p but user friendly :D

Thanks dude.
